Sometimes you just need a lot of cards in a pinch. Sometimes you want to rebuild your card stash and not spend all week doing it. Today I have a really great card design for ‘mass producing’ or replicating. Just because I created a lot of these at once and in a short period of time, doesn’t mean they’re not all one of a kind, as you will see. Let’s get started and I’ll show you how I created 12 of these beautiful cards in just 30 minutes!
12 Cards in 30 Minutes Video Tutorial
Watch along here, to see how I went from start to finish (cutting and scoring card bases included) in just about 30 minutes!
Cutting Dimensions
To make a group of these cards, I highly suggest you watch along with the video to see how I cut the paper quickly into the sizes needed. If you’re planning to create just one, here are the pieces you’ll need.
5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base
4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ designer paper
2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ designer paper, trimmed into a banner
2 dragonflies, prepared with the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and Dragonflies punch
1 Label Me Lovely punch
Tips For Mass Producing Handmade Cards Quickly
I shared a ton of tips in my video tutorial, but here are a few tips for producing lots of cards quickly!
Batch prepare your materials – Cut all of your designer paper at once, stamp all of the dragonflies at once, punch all of the tags at once, etc.
When preparing card bases – score a full piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock, then cut it in half, and you’ll get two card bases with minimal effort
Use simple card designs with punches preferably, rather than die cuts
When assembling cards, lay a group of pieces upside down to apply adhesive in batches, then one at a time adhere them to the cards. This saves time compared to applying adhesive to one piece at a time.
Watch along with the video for more tips and tricks!

I just ran across this video. I have never. Seen your stuff. I really like your style. I saw your cutter. How did you get the marks on it? What did you use and how did you choose what ones to use…? Thank you Pamela

Learned so many great tips and like the idea of creating lots of cards at once. Your instructions were clear and each step was doable for me, a beginner who is sometimes overwhelmed with all the choices

I’m making 24 of these with the same DSP! Love this efficient use of the paper!! I’ve got some dragonfly stamps and dies from a non-SU company that will substitute for the SU punch and stamp. This card really showcases that beautiful paper pack. Thank you!
I, too, love the banner trimming idea. Super quick way to add that flag to paper without a die or punch.
I appreciate your helpful Stampin Up videos. So many great ideas.
