It’s unofficially official…I qualified for the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Thailand! It won’t be official until last month’s reports are finalized in a few days, but I did it! I can’t thank you enough for supporting my Stampin’ Up! business.
Inspired by my excitement, I wanted to make a Thai-ish card. This is what I came up with.
I made the cute little hut using the Sweet Home stamp set. It is intended for making gingerbread houses, haunted houses, dog houses, normal houses…you get the idea, and I thought it would make a great Thai-looking house. I added the curlicues on the roof with a Stampin’ Write Marker to give it the right look.
The palm trees are from the Totally Trees stamp set. I watercolored the sand and water using an aquapainter.
I decided I’m going to hang this by my desk at work to 1. remind myself what I get to look forward to and 2. inspire myself to keep working and possibly earn next year’s incentive trip to…wait for it…Alaska. Oh my goodness, Alaska. That would be amazing too.
Thanks again to all of you who helped me earn this trip!
Order the products I used and make this card yourself!
