Hi friends! Are you hoarding washi tape? Or do you have a few rolls and you’re not sure what to do with it? I’ve been playing with a new pack of washi that’s in our holiday catalog, and it inspired me to create today’s projects with four different quick ways to use washi on your projects. Let’s talk about them!
4 Ways To Use Washi Tape Video
Watch along here to see how I’ve created these four simple cards using washi tape.
4 Ways To Use Washi Tape
Here are my simple ideas for using washi!
1. Create a simple background
For this one, I used several pieces of washi attached at an angle.
2. Cover a piece of cardstock and use it for punches
I punched out the witches hat, because the colors of this washi are perfect for Halloween.
3. Use it like tape! But in a decorative way
Use it just to tape an element onto your project – it’s a cute way to attach something!
4. Outline A Frame
You can outline one edge, two as I’ve shown here, or all four edges of an element. This creates a pretty frame.
There are tons of ways to use washi tape, but these are just a few for you to try!
