Stampin Up Cloche Dies & A Penguin Shaker Card

Welcome! Are you ready for a really cool project?! I’ve been having a ton of fun with new Holiday Catalog products and today I have another really fun one you can add to your ‘to craft’ list for Christmas. It’s an adorable shaker card using the new Stampin Up Cloche Dies. Take a look!

Penguin Place

This is not the first time I’ve shared a project that I created with this adorable set, but I want to show it to you again. The stamp set is so stinkin’ cute, and the punch makes it so quick and easy to punch out the penguin. Make sure you read to the bottom of this post to see the other cards I’ve created with this bundle!

The penguin is the focal point of today’s card, but we can’t forget about his cute enclosure. Let’s look at the products that make it possible.

Stampin Up Cloche Dies & Domes

Here you can see the Stampin Up Cloche Dies set that I used to cut the hole around the penguin. In addition, at the bottom left of the photo, you can see one of the Cloche Shaker Domes that I used for the shaker area. You could use standard window sheets and create a regular shaker card, but how much fun are these domes?!

How To Make Today’s Card

To make today’s card, I highly suggest you watch along with the video tutorial below. Or if you’re super crafty, you can probably figure it out yourself 😉

Mailing & Postage

With cards like this, I often get asked about the cost to mail them. We had a similar set last year and I believe it cost around $2 to mail one of these cards, because of the extra thickness due to the dome. The extra cost is worth if if you have some loved ones who won’t be nearby for the holidays, or you can also hand deliver them to friends and family which is what I usually do.
