Is anyone in the mood for a cardmaking technique today?! I hope so because I have one to share! I made today’s cards with a stencil sponging technique. I made my own stencils using the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Leaves thinlits and some clear window sheets. I cut the leaves out using the window sheets instead of regular cardstock, then I simply sponged over top of them with a few different colors of ink. I love the final look!
Below you can see the gorgeous leaf designs in both the Falling for Leaves stamp set and the Detailed Leaves thinlits.
I wanted to try some different colors, so that’s what I did on the card below. I used the Country Lane designer paper pack as my inspiration for this one.

You can try this same technique with any thinlits dies that you have. Create the stencils using window sheets, or regular cardstock can work too. Then sponge around them! Try it and let me know how it goes!
