Sending Well Wishes with the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set

Hi all! I have a delightful card to share with you today that I made in my favorite color…purple. Am I talking to any purple lovers out there? I think I have successfully brainwashed my daughter into loving purple. Don’t worry, I’m not squashing her love of other colors. She says that green and purple are her favorites, and I’m totally ok with that. But secretly, I am really glad that purple makes the list 🙂 Anywho, let’s get looking at today’s card. It’s a get well card made with Stampin’ Up’s Dandelion Wishes stamp set. How do you like it?

The greeting on this card is so sweet, and I love that it could be used for virtually any occasion…birthday, thinking of you, good luck, congratulations, just because, thank you, or get well. Not many greetings are that awesome!

See that beautiful block of color in the center of the card? I made it with the Bokeh Dots stamp set shown below. At my last class, I had a very experienced stamper sit down thinking she was going to do some fancy technique to make that block of color, and she was shocked to find out that I had simply used a stamp!

After stamping the center block with Berry Burst ink, I added the dandelion and greeting in Blackberry Bliss. These are the sweet stamps that come in the Dandelion Wishes stamp set:

I also punched the corners of the card front using our Detailed Trio Corner Punch. It is great because you can use it to round corners, punch the detailed corner like I did, or punch small oval holes onto items such as tags.

I hear from customers that sometimes they have a hard time deciding what to put on the inside of cards. I’m going to do better with posting photos of the insides of cards. Here’s today’s!
