Welcome friends. Today is tip day!! I have a quick trick to share to save money and paper on your projects. Watch along here!
Video Tutorial
What’s the trick? When using a card mat behind a layer of your card, cut pieces out of the center of it to use on other projects. See how the center of this paper is cut out?

When you put the card together, you can’t even tell! And you can use the cut pieces on other projects!

You can use dies, a trimmer, or punches to cut out the area from the center of a card mat.

What about layering a nested die set and getting several pieces you can use on other projects?!

As a fellow demo, I sometimes use an Xacto/Craft knife to roughly cut out that inside part when I’m prepping for a class.
Great idea!
