I’m excited to announce the first fun stamping challenge for my team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators- the Sassy Stampers! I thought it would be a fun way to get ideas from each other and try new things! Our first Sassy Stampers Challenge was to try a new technique. The ladies tried some techniques that have been on my own ‘to do’ list!
Eva Wiley tried the Bokeh technique in the cards below. She used Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point ink on white cardstock for the card fronts. The card bases are Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. The ‘Congrats’ stamp is from the Bravo stamp set.
Abby Wensink made this card using triple stamping and the A World of Thanks background stamp.
This card was made by Michelle Kehl. She used the Stampin’ Up! Blender Pens for the first time to shade the frog (or toad?) which comes from the You’re Sublime stamp set.
Carey Meissner made the card below. I’ll share her description of the card: “Here is a technique that I love to use. The paper I used for the background is “Color Me Irresistible.” I used the teardrop/raindrop whisper white sheet of paper. I used Island Indigo ink to color the white paper so the design shows through. The outline square is covered in washi tape that I got in clearance. The “You’re Amazing” is from the “Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.” The black outlining is from the “Color Me Irresistible” paper. This card measures 5-1/4 x 5-1/4. I just wanted to share that I used the new glue Fine-tip Glue Pen from the holiday catalog. It’s amazing and just what I needed to glue on the butterfly.”
So what do you think? Share your comments below and let us know what you think about these beautiful cards!
We would love to have you play along with our next Sassy Stampers Challenge. Join my team (or talk to the ladies who shared their cards above about joining theirs) and you can!
