I had a Christmas card stamp camp this past weekend, so I have a lot of ‘Christmas card material’ to share with you! Today’s poinsettia card is pretty simple, but I love how it turned out.
I used paper from the Typeset paper pack and stamped the poinsettias directly on it. The Reason for the Season stamp set is a two-step stamping set, or actually four-step if you want to be exact. I stamped the black outline of each poinsettia first, then the red areas, followed by the leaves and then the Crushed Curry centers. The good news is that there is a stamp for each one, so it doesn’t take long to complete each step.
After I finished the stamping, I sponged Soft Suede ink between the poinsettias to age it a little. The I embossed the Joyful greeting.
Here is the inside of the card. I love the greetings that come in the Reason for the Season stamp set.
