Watch along here as I share lots of ideas for creative corners! At the end I’m sharing about the special diet I’ve been on called the GAPS diet and how it is very different from what we have been taught is healthy for us.
Easy Ways To Spice Up Your Card Corners
Here are the ideas I’ve come up with for fun corners!
1. Score And Fold Them
I forgot to include this in today’s videos, but you can get all the details here. I just love this idea!
2. Use A Corner Punch
Many punches are designed specifically for corners, such as the punch I used on this card.
3. Get Creative With Your Punches
Have you ever thought about using regular punches to create nice corners? For this card, I used a star punch to create the nice ends on the white strip.
For this card I used the To The Point Label punch to create the nice ends. If you like ideas for creative ways to use your punches, make sure to take a look at this link.
4. Draw Patterns On Them
Grab a pen or marker and start drawing! Here are a few ideas for patterns to add to your corners.
And here is the card I created with this idea.
5. Stamp A Design
I used the Corner In Bloom stamp set to stamp this pretty corner design. This stamp set is actually what inspired today’s projects, and it is available for free right now with a purchase of $120. If you don’t have a stamp set made specifically for corners, you can use a small stamp and use it repeatedly around a corner.
6. Stamp & Trim
This is similar to the previous idea, but I trimmed around the design with my favorite scissors.
7. Trim Angles
I love doing this on my cards! It’s easy to trim off small corners by hand. Don’t worry if they’re not exact…no one will ever notice. I keep them small, because when I try to cut larger corners, they end up obviously uneven.
8. Use Blending Brushes
Typically when I add ink around the edges of a project, I do so all around. For this card I only added ink at the corners and I like the result.

Hi Anna! Really enjoyed your presentation and was pleasantly surprised when you spoke about the GAPS diet you are on. Several years ago when I was having digestive issues, I did an online search and came across some great testimonials about the gut healing benefits of the GAPS diet. I ordered Dr. Campbell-McBride’s GAPS book as well as the Specific Carbohydrate Diet book by Elaine Gottschall (the book title is Break the Vicious Cycle). Dr. McBride built the GAPS diet from the earlier research by Elaine Gottschall’ …… so it is very interesting to read both books and learn the full history. Both of these books came to be because these women had children who were suffering from major digestive problems and, as concerned Moms, they diligently searched for answers to helping their children. I am so thankful that I followed the GAPS diet and found healing and I’m so glad to learn that you are also being greatly helped by the GAPS diet. I’m sure the Lord lead me to this diet and I feel sure He did the same for you. Blessings!
