It’s time for a fun fold project! The last fun fold I shared was an amazing and elaborate twist & pop card decorated with brilliant pink ladybugs. It was tons of fun, but it was also a bit of work to do all the cutting and prep work, as it can be for some more elaborate fun fold designs. Today’s pocket fun fold card is so quick and easy, but still offers a fun surprise inside. Take a look!
Pocket Fun Fold Card Video
Watch along here to see how I created these cards, and also as I demonstrate several ways for coloring in stamped images.
In The Moment Stamps
I used the In The Moment stamp set to create these cards. Women need reminded to take care of ourselves sometimes, and this is a perfect stamp set for reminding others of this. It includes three beautiful line images of women, plus really nice greetings.
Coloring Options
In the video I explained that on the purple card, I added color using my water painters, a favorite tool of mine.
If you don’t want to spend much time coloring, you can stamp a texture stamp over the top like I did on the orange card, or create a simple swoosh using the water painters like on the pink card.
Card Measurements
Here’s what you’ll need to make a pocket fun fold card:
- 5 1/2″ 8 1/2″ cardstock, scored at 1 3/4″ and 5 3/4″

These are so simple to create, and you can decorate the circle on the front any way you like!

I love this fold. Have not seen anyone else do it.
What ink do you use when you use the water paint brushes?
Thank you
Anna Helman says
Wonderful! I use our regular Stampin Up water based inks, not memento or stazon.
