Welcome! Are you like me and have tons of paper scraps in your collection? 🙋♀️ I just can’t bring myself to toss it, so that means I have to come up with ideas for using these scraps. Today I have a fun paper scrap card that I think you’re really going to enjoy. So grab those scraps, have a seat and let’s take a look at today’s project!
Paper Scrap Card
I had a lot of small, narrow strips leftover from a recent project I created, so I decided to use those for this project. Each of my scrap pieces is approximately 1/8″ – 1/4″ wide. I found the best way to apply adhesive for this card was to line it up on a piece of grid paper or mat that has lines. I turned the card at an angle, then used the grid lines as my guide to apply adhesive at an angle on each end of the card. To see how I achieved this, check out the video I created. For the greeting on the front, I used Stampin Up’s new Beauty of Friendship stamp set. I highlighted this beautiful stamp set in this previous blog post, “Stampin Up Beauty of Friendship Makes Gorgeous Tree Cards”. To finish it off, I added some of our lovely Holiday Rhinestones. What do you think?
