I told you yesterday that I hosted my first Stampin’ Up! team Christmas party. A party isn’t a party without food, which we had of course, and Christmas isn’t Christmas without gifts! I wanted to make something nice for each of my team members and I had to package it nicely too.
I made these gift bags with a retired stamp set from last Christmas called Endless Wishes. We have a similar set this year called Flurry of Wishes which has a coordinating punch as well.
If you’re going to try stamping on gift bags, check out this blog post for a handy tip.
I stamped the tags with the Merry Everything stamp set and punched them using the Note Tag punch.
So what was inside each of these pretty gift bags? Here’s the fun surprise. Stamped framed art.
Didn’t they turn out pretty? I used the Amazing Birthday stamp set to stamp the quote. I used Stampin’ Write markers to add color to the stamp so that I could get a few different colors on it. Then I stamped a few leaves and flowers on the background and added a vertical strip of Everyday Chic Washi tape.
After I put my artwork in the frame, I used the soon-to-be released Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builder framelits dies to make the flowers and leaves that I attached to the front. It turned out so bright and cheery! I might have to make an extra one for myself!
