I think I see spring coming (woohoo!) and, in my opinion, there’s no better way to celebrate spring than with really cute chick and chicken cards. For today’s project I’m going to combine two stamps sets – Hey Chick and Springtime Joy – for a really cute end result. The Hey Chick stamp set is a special release set and is not found in any of our current catalogs. Keep reading and I’ll attach links where you can order all the supplies used for today’s project. Let’s get started with these adorable cards!
Hey Chick Stamp Set
Below is a picture of the Hey Chick stamp set. It is one of the funniest stamp sets I’ve seen lately, and it includes three chicken stamps, a half hatched egg with legs (isn’t that hilarious?!) and three sayings. In the picture you’ll see some projects made with this stamp set that I shared a couple weeks back. Keep reading and I’ll share links to the post for these projects as well.
Other Hey Chick & Chicken Card Projects
Here are some samples of the card projects shown above from my Hey Chick & Fabulous Chicken Cards blog post. Take a look.
Have a Happy Day Card
For the background of this card, I used the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, and of course all the funny chickens.
Hey Chick Card
I love using Blends Markers whenever I can. Don’t the colors look great on this card?
There were a few other cards in that blog post as well, so make sure to take a look at it. Now, let’s look at a card I made with the other set I’ll use for today’s project – Springtime Joy.
Springtime Joy Stamp Set
For the project today, I also used the Springtime Joy Stamp Set. Below is a picture of the set along with a sweet lamb card I created recently. This stamp set features a cute little lamb, a basket, little chick, flowers and some spring-themed greetings.
Now let’s talk about today’s chicken cards where I combined the Hey Chick and Springtime Joy stamp sets.

Other Cute Chicken Card Samples
Here are two other chicken card samples I made with the Hey Chick and Springtime Joy stamp sets. Take a look.
In the card below, I used the chicken and greeting from the Hey Chick stamp set and the basket of eggs and little chick from the Springtime Joy set.
How cute is this card? I used the half hatched eggs from the Hey Chick set and the cute little chick from the Springtime Joy set. I actually took the greeting from a third chicken stamp set we have right now called Hey Birthday Chick.
