Lasting Lily Card Idea

I might need some prayers today. As you may know if you’ve been following along, I’m moving from Ohio to Indiana. On Saturday, my fiance and our families loaded up most of my belongings on two trailers and he took one of them back to Indiana. This morning, I will be heading up with the second trailer. I guess you can pray for our safety with the trailer if you like, but my bigger concern is if I’m going to have a minor breakdown when I get there and have to start unpacking. It was a LOT of stuff. We’re moving into a house with four people already living in it (my man and his three kids). It should be an adventure. Goodwill better clear our their donation drop off because we’re going to help fill it up! Some of our stuff has to go! Thank you in advance for your thoughts! Well let’s go ahead and look at today’s project. It’s a pretty lily card idea.

I made this card with the Lasting Lily stamp set, part of this year’s Sale-a-bration reward item selection. I stamped the lilies with Berry Burst ink. I had a brain fart when I was making this, because I didn’t think about using the two different lily stamps. I need a do-over and I would make it with one big and one small lily next time!

I stamped the lilies on vellum, matted the vellum with Old Olive cardstock, then placed that on top of a beautiful leafy print from our Floral Romance designer series paper pack. Here are the prints that are included:

I have to admit that I almost didn’t order this paper pack, because I wasn’t impressed when I saw it in the catalog. When I received it and opened it up, I had a life changing moment when I realized how beautiful it is in person! The two prints at the top are vellum and they are gorgeous!
