The Jar of Love stamp set has been one of the most talked about new sets in this year’s Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. Many of us fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. Looking at it below, along with the coordinating framelits, what’s not to love?
I’ve seen tons and tons of cards made with this set, and I’ve made a few myself. Here is one I made a while back.
In addition to the cute stamps in the Jar of Love set, we have two sets in our Holiday Catalog that coordinate as well. They are Jar of Haunts…
…and Jar of Cheer.
That’s almost too much cuteness to handle, isn’t it? Now that you know all of the coordinating products that go with this set, I wanted to share a Christmas card that I made with the actual Jar of Love set (not Jar of Cheer). Here she is.
This card was really easy to make. I stamped the jar and greenery using the Jar of Love set, then the greeting and berries from Wondrous Wreath. The Wondrous Wreath set doesn’t have a ‘3 berry’ stamp, but it has a berry wreath. I used a marker to ink just three of the berries, and then stamped it.
Using a craft knife, I cut a small slit on the edges of the jar where I inserted the ribbon through from the back. If you use the die cuts to cut out the jar, you could just tie the ribbon around the die cut. The reason I did it this way is because I made this card for a class, and I had to keep it really simple since we were making a bunch of cards that day. This method made it easy peasy!
