It’s time for this week’s quick tip about how to stamp a large stamp! If you have difficulty with background stamps or other large stamps, take a look below for several ways to get a perfect image every time!
Tip #1 – If Possible, Use A Stamparatus
The Stamparatus is the best stamping tool ever. It makes it so easy to repeat stamp if you don’t get a perfect image the first time. It’s also great for large stamps. If possible, use those large stamps with the Stamparatus! Watch along with today’s video for tips.
If you don’t have a Stamparatus, take a look at the additional ideas below.
Tip #2 – Background Stamps
The next best option to using the Stamparatus is to lay your stamp upside down on your work surface.
Place the ink pad on top of it to ink it, and then carefully lay your paper on top of the stamp.
I usually lay a piece of scrap paper on top next, and then apply pressure using a brayer, foam piercing mat, or dry erase board eraser. Remove the paper, using care not to shift it, and take a look at your perfectly stamped background!
