I held my first Kids Night stamping event last night. When I officially marked Kids Night on the calendar, like when I plan most of my events, I had no idea if anyone would show up. The good news is that people came! And more wanted to but had conflicts! Phew, I didn’t want to have class by myself!
This is the project that we made – a fold up photo book. I knew originally that I wanted to make some sort of fold up photo book, and when my last Stampin’ Success demonstrator magazine arrived, it had a perfect sample. Here is my take on it.
This is a super easy project for kids. Start with a 3″ x 12″ piece of cardstock. Score it at 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″ and 10″. Fold it up accordion style, and decorate! All of the stamps I used are from the Butterfly Basics stamp set. The embellishments come from the Cherry On Top designer paper stack and washi tape pack.
I’m planning on making Kids Night a monthly event! I can’t wait to start concocting next month’s project!
