For quite a while, I’ve been thinking it would be fun to share some farmhouse style card projects. The farmhouse style of decorating has taken over basically every home decor section in every store I visit, and it is likely the same for the stores you visit. I am definitely a fan of the clean and simple look of the farmhouse trend, so let’s use it on some cards!

Watch along here as I create five farmhouse style cards, and explain tips and techniques for how you can create similar cards.
Tips For Creating Farmhouse Cards
If you would like to create farmhouse style cards yourself, you’ll want to choose neutral colors, have lots of white space, choose bold and simple greetings, and include natural textures such as woodgrain. Let’s take a look at the samples I created.
Farmhouse Card Samples
For each card below, I’ll share the products I used to create it as well as any tips or techniques. I’ll mention now that I used the Alphabest stamp set to create my own simple greetings for all five cards.
1. Tree Rings Christmas Card
Products Used: Tree Rings hybrid embossing folder, Boughs of Holly designer paper, Timber embossing folder, Textural Elements
Here’s the beautiful Ringed With Nature bundle I used to create those wood cross-sections on the card above. I also used the Ringed With Nature embossing folder to created the texture.
2. All White Wreath Card
Products Used: Cottage Wreaths stamp set, Country Wreaths die set
*Use white paper strips to create the ‘shiplap’ wood paneling background! I embossed the wreath and greeting with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
This is the bundle I used to create that lovely wreath.
3. Kraft Brown Wreath Card
Products Used: Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes, Kraft 6×6 Cardstock, Cottage Wreaths stamp set, Country Wreaths die set, Linen Thread
*Use a scoring board to create the look of wood paneling
4. Black and White Wreath Card
Products Used: Country Wreaths Die Set, Gingham Cottage designer paper
5. Tree Rings Card
Products Used: Tree Rings hybrid embossing folder, Bough punch, Natural Finish Ribbon
