Welcome everyone! I hope you’re doing well, staying home (if possible) and healthy. For those of you continuing to work and take care of the rest of us, I thank you! I’m beginning to offer some virtual stamp class opportunities so that we can get together online and interact! I think a lot of us can use this right now, so I’m going to try it and see how it goes. My very first virtual class will be a fun folds card class, and I’m really excited about it. For today’s project, I decided to make one extra fun fold card using the same stamp set I’ll be using for the class – Butterfly Gala. This card is a Double Dutch Door fun fold. Take a look!
This card turned out so pretty in person – even prettier than it shows in the pictures. Plus, it was very simple to make.
To make the base of this card, you need a piece of 4 1/4″ x 9″ cardstock scored at 5 1/2″, and a piece of 2″ x 8 1/2″ cardstock scored 2 1/8″ from each end. I did a video showing how to make this card. See it here.
Below you can see the lovely Butterfly Gala stamp set and Duet Butterfly Punch that I used on this card.
Fun folds add a special element to a handmade card, many times without a lot of extra effort. Are you interested in my Fun Folds Virtual Card Class? Learn more and sign up here!
