Hi, and thanks for joining me today! Last week as I was skimming over the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog, I began to think about some of the really great products in this catalog that may not get noticed. Today I want to highlight one of them, and I’m going to share 8 simple (yet beautiful!) cards that feature the Stampin Up’s Dandy Laser Cut Paper. You may not have even heard of it or skimmed right by it in the catalog, but I’m confident you’ll enjoy the designs I’ve created with these gorgeous and delicate overlays. Join me, and let’s take a look.
3 Basic Supplies
I wanted to highlight three main products on today’s projects. The first, Dandy Laser Cut Paper, is one of those products that’s easy to skim over. But once introduced to it, there’s a world of possibilities just waiting to be explored for using the beautiful die cuts. The two other basic supplies featured in today’s projects are Stampin Up’s Peaceful Moments stamp set and Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.
Next, let’s take a look at today’s projects!
Dandy Laser Cut Paper Project Samples
Here’s a very simple card. I only used a basic card base, some of the die cuts from the Dandy Laser Cut Paper and a “Thank You” stamp from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
This card was created with one piece of designer paper, a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set and two die cuts.
Here’s another card using only some Hydrangea Hill designer paper, stamps and a few die cuts. The center circle is actually the punch out from the very first card — use those scraps!
Here is another simple card example.
For the card below, I pulled in a new color with Cinnamon Cider cardstock and added the Dandy Laser Cut Paper overlay along with a sentiment.
I did the same for this card. I chose Mossy Meadow Cardstock to place behind the leaf print.
This card is one of my favorites. I love this hydrangea paper print and the detailed dragonflies.
Here’s another lovely card. It’s so simple, yet is so elegant to look at because of the Dandy Laser Cut Paper.
