Today I have something a little different to share, and you might just want to take a look. I have a ‘mini me’ named Miss K who lives with me and loves to craft. You may know this if you’ve seen some of my older videos when she has been my helper. Today she and I did ‘crafty collaborations.’ What exactly does that mean? It means that I chose one of her craft projects to use as inspiration for something I made, and she chose a project I had made as inspiration for a new project of hers. You HAVE to see her project that I used as inspiration! Keep reading!

This will be most fun if you watch along here to see our projects and inspiration.

My Inspiration
Look at this amazing…paper…McDonald’s meal. My child is a master of 3D paper things. I woke up from a nap on a rough day a couple of months ago, to her having created this. I won’t mention the wreck that had developed in the craft area!
I absolutely love the fry box. In my opinion, it is super impressive. For this reason, I used it as my inspiration for today’s project. No, I’m not creating a project with a big M on the front, in case you’re wondering.
My Project
I used the way she folded her fry box as my inspiration, and I made a small folded pocket the same way to hold a cute little flower arrangement. Isn’t this sweet?
I used the Timeworn Type embossing folder, Flowers of Friendship stamps and punch, and the Sprig punch to create this card. I really like the simplicity of it.
To see how I created my card, watch along in the video. Next let’s move on to see what Miss K created!
Miss K’s Inspiration & Project
Here you can see what Miss K used as her inspiration. You can find details for the penguin card here.
She loved the shaker dome and asked what other shapes of domes I had in my collection. The answer was ‘jars’ and she decided to create a cute shaker dome card with the Jar Domes, Jar Punch, and Timeless Tropical stamp set. I mean really, what else would you think to put inside of a jar besides a pineapple??
Isn’t this cute? I just love to see her creations.
