Birthday Blooms Card

Are there any birthday people out there reading this post today? If so, here’s my birthday wish to you! Today’s birthday blooms card features the Birthday Blooms stamp set and the Wildflower Fields designer series paper pack, which is one of the free items you can earn right now during Sale-a-bration.

I stamped the large flower using black archival ink, and then added color to it using aqua painters. If you haven’t tried this technique before, I highly suggest trying it! I think the end effect is gorgeous…so much softer and prettier than using markers.

Those diagonal strips are washi tape…quite possibly the easiest way ever to add some decoration to a card, scrapbook page, bulletin board, wall, door, box, jar, child…oh wait, I got carried away.
