It’s another stamping challenge card today. This week it’s a color challenge.
I especially like the color challenges, because they allow me to use colors I wouldn’t have come up with on my own. When I saw this color combo, I quickly scanned my stamp sets to find something that would look nice in Basic Gray, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. Six Sided Sampler popped out, so I grabbed it plus the coordinating Hexagon Hive thinlits die and I got to work.
Once I looked at the Hexagon Hive die, I decided that I wanted to create a beehive. Then it hit me…our new English Garden designer series paper pack has bees in it! Here’s the Bee My Friend card that I came up with.
Aren’t these bees super cute? It makes me think of my little girl saying, ‘Beeeee.’ She’s 18 months old and everything she says is adorable. Including, ‘Beeeeee.’
The beehive pattern stamp I used in the background is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set. I thought it was fitting.
If you haven’t tried any stamping challenges yet, it’s time!

This is very cool! Love the stamping you did on the yellow card to give the effect of the hive. Thanks for playing at TGIF!
