Now on to today’s project, a vintage Christmas Card.
Isnt’ this sweet? We have a beautiful designer series paper pack this season called Home For Christmas. It’s filled with beautiful vintage prints that will send you back to Christmases of the olden days. I heard someone say that it reminded her of holidays she spent with her grandmother as a child, and I totally agree. Here you can see what comes in the pack.
If you haven’t used our designer series paper, you should try it out! It is extremely nice, high quality paper. If you’re a paper ‘feeler’ (you have to feel it to decide if you like it), you’re going to love this paper. Plus it’s all double sided, so if for some reason you don’t like a certain print, there is always a second option on the backside.
For today’s card, I used two of the designs from the Home For Christmas paper pack – the deer and the mistletoe prints.
The Joy stamp comes from the Your Presents stamp set, and I attached it on top of a flower medallion punched piece of red glimmer paper. Nothing (well, almost nothing) is complete without some metallic thread, and I chose gold for this card.
This card is very different from my usual style, but I love it! I should branch out more often! It was very quick and simple to create as well, and it would be easy to replicate in mass quantities.
Use the links below to see the products I used and do some shopping. Use hostess code NA6AZJPU and I will send you a free gift! Even better, sign up for stamp club and you will get free projects and free stamps!
