Many of my crafty online followers just love to make 3D stamping projects, and for this reason I’ve been sharing more of these projects recently. A few weeks ago I saw a picture of a jar treat holder I made long ago using a set that Stampin Up no longer sells, and it inspired me to make a new version using our Jar of Flowers stamp set and Jar Punch. I got to work, and here is what I created!
I think these would make amazing party prizes, wedding favors, or holiday treats. Let’s talk about how to make them!

First, let’s look at the Jar of Flowers bundle that I used to create these jar treat holders.
Jar of Flowers Bundle
The Jar of Flowers stamp set and Jar Punch are a favorite in our 2020 Annual Catalog. The stamp set includes all the fixings for cute mason jar floral arrangements. Paired with the Jar Punch, the set can be used in many different ways, including to make today’s treat holder projects!
Next let’s talk about materials we’ll need to make these.
Materials
To make this project, you will need the following:
- A piece of window sheet large enough to stamp 2 jars
- Window sheet measuring 2 3/4″ x 4″
- StazOn black ink
- Jar of Flowers stamp set and Jar Punch
- Fine tip glue pen
- Scoring board
Next, let’s talk about how to make them!
Jar Treat Instructions
Begin with your piece of 2 3/4″ x 4″ window sheet. With the 4″ side along the top of your scoring tool, score at 3/4″, 1 3/4″, 2 1/2″, and 3 1/2″. Turn it 90 degrees so the 2 3/4″ edge is along the top. Score at 2″.
Next, use a bone folder to crease each score line crisply. Then reverse each fold and crease again. This will help get nice corners at 90 degree angles.
Trim along the 3/4″, 1 3/4″, 2 1/2″, and 3 1/2″ score lines, just up to the horizontal score line. These flaps will serve as the bottom of the ‘box’ that you will attach the jars to. At this point you can fold the box base together and adhere with Tear and Tape adhesive.
Next, stamp two jars onto another piece of Window Sheet with StazOn ink. When the ink has dried, punch them out using the Jar Punch. Attach these to the box base using Fine Tip Glue Pen. Lastly, decorate the jar as you desire!
