A Sweet Squirrel Card with Stampin' Up! Fable Friends

It’s Sunday! I hope you have had a relaxing weekend so far. I wouldn’t call mine relaxing, but it’s been exciting! Here in Ohio we had a snowstorm with probably about 6″ of snow. In the midst of that yesterday, my fiance, his parents, and my brother and dad loaded up two trailers with most of my house contents to move me to Indiana. Crazy! It’s been a tiring and emotional week. I bawled my eyes out Thursday night thinking about leaving home. I woke up yesterday and cried some more! Despite the sadness, I came to the realization long ago that God had a bigger adventure planned for my life than I did, and therefore I was open to the idea of moving to be with my fiance. Here we are, it’s time! It’s a big change, but I’m ready for it. And that little girl of mine…earlier this week she said to me, “I think Indiana is the best. It’s just perfect.” Then she went on to tell me why she thinks it’s perfect. How sweet. It definitely makes the change easier knowing she is all for it! Ok, enough about me, let’s look at today’s project! It’s a sweet squirrel card made with our new Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends stamp set!

Is this not, like, the cutest thing you’ve seen today?!? I just love this! I paired it with the white background stamped with our Crackle Paint stamp and a doily created with our Doily Builder Thinlits. It came together quite well!

Here you can see what comes in the Fable Friends stamp set. The greetings are great to use it for several occasions!

I used the, “Glad we’re friends,” sentiment on this card, but it would also be perfect with the “Darling Baby” or “Happy Spring” sentiment, or any greeting for children from a different stamp set.
