I hope you’re having a good week so far. My week is BUSY but good! I held my new catalog Stamp Camp at my home this past Saturday, and later this week I’ll be holding two more sessions at my old home turned craft retreat in Ohio. In addition, I get to meet up with many of my team members for our Sassy Stampers team retreat on Friday! I can’t wait to share pictures and projects from our get together. Have you ever thought about signing up with Stampin Up? Or would you just like to get a discount on your products? If so, make sure you check out our amazing sign up offer this month. Ok, let’s get on with today’s project! I’m sharing a simple stamping fern card idea. Take a look!
To create this card, I used our new Forever Fern stamp set. It is a beauty of a set, with assorted fern stamps and pretty greetings included. This is one of our Distinktive stamp sets, meaning the stamps are designed to show depth and dimension, for very realistic images.
Do you see the three shades of the fern on the front of the card? I stamped all three using Pretty Peacock ink. I inked the stamp one time, then stamped three times, from left to right, without inking. This is called stamping off, and it allows you to get more shades out of one ink pad. Such a pretty, yet simple technique!
I created a video to show you exactly how to create this card. Please watch along!
Thanks for taking a look at today’s fern card idea. Stop back soon 🙂
