I hope you had a good week celebrating our Independence! I enjoyed my first 4th of July in my new town, which is Topeka, Indiana. It’s a small farming community, and they had a big celebration on the 4th. My favorite festivity was the Amish buggy races pulled by people!! They have a ladies division, so I’m working on getting a team together for next year! I’m still not sure if I’m serious or not 🙂 Another thing big in Amish country are quilts, and that’s just what I have to share with you today – a quilt card idea.
Isn’t this pretty? I made it with the Verdant Garden stamp set, shown below. When I saw this set in the new catalog, I had to have it! You could make so many different colors of beautiful quilt cards with this set!
I chose to pair the colors of Blackberry Bliss, Lovely Lipstick, and Smoky Slate on this card. Which color combos would you use?
Thanks for visiting! Make sure to stop back because my next post will be my Class of the Month, and the projects are amazing!!

I would love to know how you did this card start to finish. Did you use the Stamparatus?? I do love the card and I think the colors are stunning.

I actually did not use the Stamparatus. I just eyeballed it! I stamped the Blackberry Bliss parts from top to bottom in one column (the column on the left). Then I added the accent colors in between. After that was done, I did the Blackberry Bliss for the column on the right, then added the rest of the accent colors. If you look close you can see it’s not perfectly straight, but I was happy with it!
