It’s the weekend! I hope you have some time to rest and craft! Here in Ohio, it seems like this is the first weekend we have actually had some fall weather and I’m thrilled! I want to have a fire and make hot cider 🙂 My daughter and I went to an apple orchard yesterday, and I’m hoping to make some kind of dessert with the apples we brought home. I’m thinking dumplings…yum. Well let’s look at today’s project. I’m calling this a masculine I love you card, but really it could be used for a female too. It was really easy to make, and I thought the embellishments I used finished it off nicely.
What a nice greeting…I don’t think I could love you more than I already do. This would be so nice for a spouse, child, other family member, or friend. The stamp set has some other beautifully-worded sayings as well, and you can see them below.
So here is the stamp set I used – Enjoy Life – a new favorite of mine. I’ve used it quite a few times, and each card has turned out beautifully!
See the little swirl I stamped in each corner of the card? I did that using the Detailed With Love stamp set, shown here. This set comes as a bundle with our Detailed Trio Punch, which allows you to stamp several different corner shapes. A few of the stamps in the set coordinate with the corners that can be punched out, including the one I used.
As for those embellishments on the card, the sequins are from the metallics assortment, and aren’t those copper Leaves Trinkets stunning!?! They are just perfect to add some bling to a masculine card, because men can use some bling too!!
