Hello and welcome to this month’s OSAT blog hop! I’m excited to share this beautiful butterfly card featuring the Butterfly Brilliance and Happiest of Birthdays stamp sets. These blog hops are some of my favorite things to do each month. I love the flow of ideas, creativity and the community it creates. One of my main goals in making blog posts is to be helpful, and hopefully you enjoy what I have to share today. Keep reading and I’ll share with you some tips and tricks I used to make today’s projects.
Here’s what I created for this month’s theme – Say What, with an emphasis on the sentiment. I chose this large birthday stamp, because I love big bold greetings. The stamp on the inside is great too, because it’s perfect for sending belated birthday cards. Am I the only one who sends belated cards?!? Please tell me I’m not!
Aren’t the purple colors lovely? Keep reading and I’ll share about the stamp sets I used as well as the techniques involved with creating this card.
Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set
The Butterfly Brilliance stamp is such a unique stamp set. To look at the packaging, you’d never know this stamp set is one giant rubber stamp consisting of a group of 6 different sizes of butterflies. Because this stamp is so big, I would recommend using an F Size Block or Stamparatus when stamping with it. This set is a special release by Stampin Up. You can see what comes in the stamp and die bundle below. Click here for other Butterfly Brilliance card ideas.
Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set
The Happiest of Birthdays stamp set is a wonderful stamp set with big, bold birthday greetings. I love this set because it includes a greeting that says, “Happy (little-bit-late) Birthday”, which I used on the inside of the card. If you watch along with my video tutorial, you can see what it looks like.
