Want to learn what this stamping thing is all about? Start here.
Welcome to my fifth day of Turkey Day prep! I’ve shared ideas all week long to help make your Thanksgiving Day more festive, like turkey treat boxes, pumpkin treat boxes, a turkey kids craft, and gratitude list frames, and today I’m finishing off with DIY Thanksgiving place cards. This joyous turkey gracing the front of these cards is sure to bring a smile to everyone who has a seat at your Thanksgiving table!
This welcoming pilgrim-turkey, is just one of four fowl that make up the Birds of a Feather stamp set shown below. They are just too adorable for words!
I stamped the turkey with Memento black ink, then used Stampin Blends markers to add color. Blends markers do such a nice job of adding realistic color and shading!
I added the personalized name using our Make a Difference stamp set. It includes a full upper case and lower case alphabet as well as other stamps like ‘handcrafted just for you,’ ‘handstamped by,’ and ‘from the desk of.’ The letters in the set are perfect for name cards, or any other personalized projects!
Thanks for visiting to see these DIY Thanksgiving place cards! I hope you’ll use some of my ideas from this week to brighten your holiday gatherings!
