We’re going to soar to new heights with today’s hot air balloon card! This fits a little bit with my plans for this week…an airplane ride and trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area! It’s always been a dream of mine to see it in person, so we are taking a family trip to the Grand Canyon plus plans for Mesa Verde, Arches National Park, Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountain National Park. We’re going to cover a lot of ground in a week, and plans may change if we decide to spend more time in certain areas. I’ll make sure to share pictures! Now let’s set our sights high with today’s card!
Isn’t this card precious? The hot air balloon stamp set that I used to make it is making headlines! It’s called Above the Clouds, and it’s looking like one of many favorites in our new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. Here’s what comes in the set:
I love the phrases included in this set. They’re appropriate to coordinate with the hot air balloons and they’re general enough to be used for many different occasions…birthdays, encouragement, good luck, moving, new job, graduation, and more! Not only does this set include great sentiments, it also includes two-step stamps to make it a quick and easy job to stamp the balloons and them fill them in. PLUS…it has this coordinating Hot Air Balloon Punch!
If you follow along with my blog, you know one of my favorite things is a nice stamp set with a coordinating punch. It makes it a snap to put together cute cards quickly.
I used some of our Come Sail Away designer paper on this card. It would be great for a boy or man, but it works well for women too!
What beautiful creations could you come up with using the Above the Clouds stamp set? I would love to see them!
