I needed to make a couple of childrens birthday cards lately, and my favorite stamp set for kids is Little Buddy Birthday. I also needed some cards for my Stampin’ Up demonstrator meeting card swap, so I got out my supplies and starting stamping!
I could have made all of the cards the same, but where is the fun in that? I wanted to continue highlighting many of our retiring products, so that’s what I tried to use. The stamp sets, ticket duo punch and all of the embossing folders I used will be gone soon, so make sure to order if you want to have them.
Here is the collection of cards I made.
I stamped using the Memento black ink pad. Then I colored the images using my Stampin’ Write markers. Normally when I color with markers I stamp using the black StazOn ink pad, but my brain must not have been fully functioning at the time.
Here you can see some of the cards closer up.
I used the Hey You stamp set on the inside of the card. This is another retiring set. This set only has 3 stamps in it, but they’re great basic greetings that I have used over and over again. Here are the stamps in the set.
Have fun making some cute kids cards!
