Only 17 days until Christmas! Oh my! I better get my cards sent out and work some more on my shopping list! Between now and the end of the year I want to highlight some great stamp sets that will be retiring with the close of this year’s Holiday Catalog. Here is today’s highlight – an Among the Branches Christmas Card.
Do you like the black/white/silver/gold combo? I think I’m liking it.
Random FYI- I just got word of an end of year sale starting this Thursday with discounts up to 60% off! You’ll want to check back to get all the details!
Now back to today’s project. The Among the Branches stamp set is great for Halloween, fall and Christmas. I love the large circular stamps like the one I used on this card that says ‘Making Spirits Bright.’ The other two say ‘Spooky’ and ‘Autumn Wishes & Tasty Dishes.’ The set comes with this great branch stamp, as well as coordinating leaves, birds, spooky eyes and a snowflake. You can really do a lot with just this one set.
What’s that you see in the background? Why, since you’re asking, I think that’s the work of the Woodland embossing folder. This embossing folder is one of my absolute favorite products in this year’s Holiday Catalog. Click here for a sampling of projects I have made using this wonderful little tool.
The Woodland embossing folder is technically retiring with the end of this catalog. However, I found out some great news today…it will be returning in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog! It has been so popular that Stampin’ Up! is going to break their own rule and bring it back from retirement! The current supply has been sold out, so you’ll have to wait until June to order this beauty!
Check back for sneak peeks of new products as well as more highlights of soon-to-be retired products! If you plan to order, use hostess code Y4HGVHEJ and I will send you a free gift! Even better, sign up for stamp club and you will get free projects and free stamps!
