Tonight was my first Stampin’ Up! team Christmas party at my home. These great ladies (and more) have jumped in with me on this fun Stampin’ Up! ride and I’m so glad to have met and gotten to know them. We were all on our A-game for this picture…way to go girls!
A party isn’t a party without food, so that was the first item on the agenda this evening. We had lasagna, salad, rolls, some delicious dips, and then finished it off with hot fudge cake and ice cream. I’ll have to share my recipe for the hot fudge cake sometime. It’s super easy and yummy.
Next we did our card swap for the evening. It’s always fun to see what everyone comes up with. My schedule has been a little hectic lately, so my card was pretty simple. Really simple actually. Here is ‘just the sweetest cherry card.’
I made this using a new stamp set in our upcoming Occasions catalog. It’s called Apple of My Eye. Cherries are just one of the cute and fun stamps in this set. You can use it to make apples, peaches, oranges, limes, lemons, pears and probably more fruits I haven’t thought of!
I needed a handful of these so that I could give one to each person who was coming to the Christmas party. That’s why I needed to keep them simple, because I was making eight of them and I was short on time!
Punching out the cherries with a circle punch and using dimensionals behind them added a cute little touch.
