I love cards that appear to be aged. I have always loved old things – old houses, old furniture, and antiques of all types, so maybe this explains why I simply love cards that appear to look old. Today I’m sharing seven techniques for creating cards that appear to be vintage. I created three card samples using several different techniques. Let’s take a look.
Aged Card #1
This card features a few techniques including stamping with the distressed words in the background, crumpling the paper, and blending ink over the top with blending brushes.
Distressed Card #2
This card features dry embossing using the Timeworn Type embossing folder, using blending brushes, and creating splatters with both stamps and a water painter.
Vintage Card #3
This card features dry embossing with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder, blending brushes, distressing with sandpaper, and using scissors to rough up the edges of the paper.
Framed Florets Bundle
These cards feature the Framed Florets bundle, which is an early release from our upcoming catalog being released in a few weeks. See more Framed Florets ideas here!
