Pumpkins are my FAVORITE! As a child, I raised pumpkins and sold them to local florists, greenhouses and other customers. It started because I was driving my mom crazy (imagine that) and she bought me some seeds to keep me busy. Each year my project got bigger and bigger until I was raising about an acre each year (about the size of a football field). I still raise enough for us to use at our house and they just make me so happy!
I decided I wanted to make a pumpkin card today, and that’s when I realized that I don’t have any pumpkin stamps! Oh my goodness, it was almost a national emergency. Well, not really, I just decided to make some pumpkins myself. I always love a good punch art challenge, so I got out some punches and got to work. Here is the pumpkin time card I made up.
I created the pumpkins using the circle and oval punches. I made the leaves using the Reason For the Season stamp set and Elegant Butterfly Punch. I trimmed thin slivers of Early Espresso cardstock and wrapped them around a pencil for the curly vines.
The sentiment on the inside is from the Cheer All Year stamp set.
