Hi and welcome! If you’re new to my blog, you may not have heard me talk about monthly challenges my team members and I participate in. These are fun challenges that allow us to create and design based on certain guidelines such as measurements, color combinations or themes. This month our challenge was based on a card sketch and measurements were given to us by one of my amazing team members, Tanya Swink. As you can see by my samples below, I had a lot of fun creating with this challenge.
Let’s first look at the stamp sets I used for these cards.
Hippo Happiness Stamp Set
The first stamp set I used was Hippo Happiness. I created a lot of really cute cards using this set. The fun little animals fit so perfectly in the squares we were challenged to include in the design. This three-step stamp set includes a hippo, unicorn, zebra, lamb and butterfly. By layering three stamps on top of each other, you can create these adorable animals in no time.
Butterfly Gala Stamp Set
The Butterfly Gala stamp set is the set I chose to use for today’s project in my video tutorial. This set is a two-step stamp set that includes several different types of butterflies and along with fill stamps.
Next, let’s take a look at how you can prepare for this project.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some of my other card samples I created for this same challenge.
Other Card Samples
Here’s an adorable hippo card created with the Hippo Happiness stamp set.
This unicorn card was also created with the Hippo Happiness stamp set. I think any little girl would love to receive this unicorn card!
Like I said earlier, this time of the month is always enjoyable because of our team challenges. I love the fun and socialization these challenges bring to my team. If you think you’d enjoy these challenges too, consider joining my team and participating in our stamping fun 🙂
