Welcome! How many scrapbookers do we have in the house? When I named my blog, ‘Scrapping Stamping and (other) Stuff (I love),’ I still did a lot of traditional scrapbooking. Over the years, I have drifted more into cards and less into scrapbooking. I’ve been wanting to share more scrapbooking ideas with you for quite a while, and I’m finally getting around to working them into my blog and video tutorials. We will start today with a page made with the Stampin Up Pattern Play stamp set. Let’s get started!
The Pattern Play stamp set is a new one featured in the 2020-2021 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. It was a must in my ordering list because you can do so much with pattern stamps.
Benefits Of This Stamp Set
I love pattern stamps! You can use them for truly any project or occasion. Just switch out the colors of ink and cardstock, and you can use them for birthday, Christmas, wedding, graduation, or any other occasion. They’re great for men, women, and children!
Materials Needed To Create This Page
To create this scrapbook page, you’ll need the following:
- 12″x12″ Artistry Blooms designer series paper
- 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry, and Magenta Madness.
- Gold foil paper
- Magenta Madness ribbon
- Artistry Blooms sequins
- Stampin pads: Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry, Magenta Madness
- Versamark ink, Gold embossing powder, and a heat tool
- Stitched Nested Labels dies
You can find links for these products at the bottom of this page.
Project Tutorial
To make this page, you’ll need to first trim down the 8 1/2″ x 11″ pieces of cardstock. Trim 1″ off of the long edge to yield a piece measuring 1″ x 11″. Next, lay the remaining piece horizontally on your trimmer and cut it at the 5″ mark. Now you’ll have pieces measuring 5″ x 7 1/2″ and 6″ x 7 1/2″.
The 5″ x 7 1/2″ pieces are extra. The 6″ x 7 1/2″ pieces will be stamped with the Stampin Up Pattern Play stamps. Do the same with the 1″ x 11″ pieces.
I created the tag at the bottom right of the page using the Stitched Nested Labels dies. I embossed the greeting with Versamark ink and gold embossing powder.
