First of all…isn’t this Moroccan Designer Series Paper on the card below gorgeous? I made a really simple fancy fold card using the Moroccan DSP and Flourishing Phrases stamp set and die bundle that I want to share with you today. I love how it turned out!
I mentioned that this is a fancy fold card. As you open the card, this is what it looks like.
To make the template for the card base, I started with cardstock measuring 8 1/2″ square. I scored it vertically and horizontally at 4 1/4″, then scored diagonally from corner to corner going one direction only. You can see this in the photo below. I folded each score line back and forth, creasing with a bone folder in both directions. This was necessary to get it to lay fairly flat. Otherwise it wanted to pop up a lot when closed.
Here’s a close up of the greeting I chose from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. I love the greetings in this set.
