Watch along here as I explain each of these ideas along with how to do each, or keep scrolling for photos and more info.
How To Attach Ribbon
First I’ll mention that I like to attach ribbon in one of two ways. 1 – With a Glue Dot or 2 – With a little bit of Seal+ adhesive. I rarely use a different adhesive for ribbons.

Now let’s talk about what to do with that ribbon.
Ways To Use Ribbon
If you’re interested in more details on the card projects shown, use the links included.
1. Use A Strip

2. Use A Strip Wrapped Around Back
I always attach these with one Glue Dot at each end.

3. Wrap Around Several Times
What do you do with the ends? Tie them in a knot (or a bow, but that’s not what we’re talking about today) or wrap them to the back side.

4. Attach A Strip With A Knot
*This isn’t my card design! I received this in a card swap.

5. Tie a Knot
Use a knot on it’s own, or attach to a strip of ribbon as shown.

6. Tails Out
Fold in half and attach so the tails show.

7. Fold In Half
Similar to #6 except you see more of the ribbon.

8. Support Ribbon
Like a cancer ribbon. Similar to #7, with a twist in the middle.

9. Zig Zag
This is one of my favorites!

The turtle card isn’t my design either, but you can see more about the daffodil bookmark card here.

12. Through Back Of An Element
*This isn’t my card design! I received this in a card swap.

The rest of these ideas are variations of what I’ll call ‘messy thread.’
